THE GREEN PACT Instead of Greenwashing – Lubricant Manufacturer EMKA Introduces a New Environmental and Disposal Concept for Customers
With THE GREEN PACT, lubricant manufacturer EMKA is implementing a consistent eco-friendly corporate strategy. This environmental label represents resource conservation and cost optimization in the industry, particularly in the automotive sector. THE GREEN PACT encompasses measures such as the introduction of a sustainable disposal concept, ranging from waste record management to complete inventory assessments, while also ensuring legally compliant handling of regulatory processes. The goal is to reduce the ecological and economic burdens on businesses alike.
This is not about "greenwashing" or any kind of "eco-story," but about optimized processes that benefit both businesses and the environment. One thing is certain: environmental initiatives are most effective when they bring economic advantages to customers.
The concept for EMKA customers includes a comprehensive environmental management approach. At the same time, Henning Demke, Head of Environmental Consulting at EMKA, offers training sessions for companies on energy and environmental efficiency. "Even small behavioral changes and adjustments in technology and equipment can lead to long-term cost reductions. That is the opportunity presented by THE GREEN PACT," explains Demke.
In parallel, EMKA is introducing technical innovations like the EMKA-CLEAN washing table to workshops. Using a microbiological cleaning fluid heated to 38°C and enriched with oxygen, the table effectively removes grease and oil from surfaces without leaving harmful residues. Dirt particles are captured in a cotton filter, and the need for regular refilling due to natural evaporation is minimal. EMKA-CLEAN simplifies the disposal of empty containers, protects sensitive surfaces, and improves workplace safety. The modular design of the table fits seamlessly into any workspace.
