Moped race in Nörvenich - fun with dirt!

From September 20th to 21st, this year saw the return of the Nörvenich Moped Race, which was first established in 2017.

At the Nörvenich Moped Race track, both moped riders and visitors get their money’s worth. The fenced area is located directly on the B477 in Nörvenich, on the Birkenhof farm of the Werner Kremer family, and offers ample parking as well as a dedicated entrance for the teams. In addition to the thrilling race, there’s plenty of space for the teams to camp, a large catering area with a breakfast tent, and attractions like bouncy castles and face painting to entertain the whole family.

The Nörvenich Moped Race is not only known for its exciting competition but also for its almost legendary breakfast buffet. Riders and teams are treated to a wide variety of delicious foods to fuel up before the race.

4-Hour Race & After-Race Party

After free practice on Friday, followed by the mandatory pre-race party with the fantastic live band Metal Rules, Saturday traditionally features the main event: the actual race with nearly 70 participating teams.

The regulations for the 4-hour Nörvenich Moped Race are geared towards moped riders, who can compete in both the tuning and original categories. Special emphasis is placed on fairness and safety to ensure an exciting yet safe race for all participants.

The race begins on Saturday at 1:00 PM. The race duration is 2 x 2 hours with a 30-minute break. The finish line is at 5:30 PM. Afterward, the After-Race Party kicks off with a DJ, making sure the celebration continues with a bang.

And right in the thick of things for two days were our grid girls Kathi and Tatjana, dressed in their tight-fitting EMKA outfits. The girls certainly caught a lot of attention, as you can imagine!
