Interview with Cyndie Allemann

„I live my dream job!“

In a conversation with our editorial team, the racing driver and presenter reveals what she loves about her job, why she collaborates with EMKA, and what she dreams of for the future.

Hello Cyndie! You are currently the most influential automotive influencer in Switzerland. What inspired you to become a driver and presenter in the automotive field?

My family comes from motorsport; I have gasoline in my veins. I grew up with it and have always felt comfortable in that environment. Racing is my life. But when I started my own family, I wanted to reorient myself. Being a presenter is a fantastic job: I get to drive cool cars—on closed tracks. That unique feeling I experienced in racing comes back, and today, I want to pass that on to kids at the go-kart track.

How did the partnership with the oil manufacturer EMKA come about? What attracted and convinced you about the brand?

Trust is the most important thing! I trust the quality; otherwise, I couldn't collaborate with EMKA. Of course, it's also about the camaraderie with the entire team. Life is too short not to have fun with these things. But EMKA is a very good brand that continues to evolve. There are always new products that are important for me and many others. For example, I think of the new brake cleaners. Such products are essential in motorsport; otherwise, you can't give the 100 percent you want to deliver.

What do you mean by that?

So many things influence your performance on the track: the oil, the fuel, and much more. It's important to have a good driver, but if the equipment isn't right overall, then the driver can't win either.

What are your goals for the future, personally, in motorsport, or in presenting?

Our family runs Spirit Karting AG. We live and breathe go-karting like no one else. Our heart and soul are invested in the kart store, at events, and especially in the professional support of drivers and our youth. As a presenter, I've been active with Grip for ten years. I also host my second show, "GO!", which is a mobility magazine.

I wish to continue testing cool cars. I live my dream job. New and exciting vehicles are constantly hitting the market, and I get to experience them up close.

By collaborating with companies like EMKA, I can contribute to ensuring that the industry knows what we truly need on the road and in vehicles. A specialized go-kart oil is right at the top of that list.
